Present Perfect Progressive Tense
日本語は大まかな状況を説明しているだけで、詳細な訳ではありません。
現在完了進行形は過去に何かが始まり現在も続いている状況を表し、主に次のような場面で使われます。
1. Since, for: expresses duration/continuation. Something started in the past and continues to the present. Chances are good it will continue into the future.
過去に何かが始まり現在まで続いている状況。今後も “しばらく続くだろう” の場面。継続時間を“since, for” で表しています。
I’ve been taking English lessons since last August.
私は去年の8月から英語のレッスンを受けています。
I’ve been thinking of you since you left.
私は貴方が去って以来ずっと貴方のことを考えてます。
We have been writing to each other since two summers ago.
私たちは2年前の夏以来ずっと文通してます。
My husband has been washing the car for two hours.
私の旦那さんは2時間ずっと車を洗っている。
My mother has been cooking dinner since early afternoon.
私の母は午後ずっと料理しています。
They’ve been arguing for the last hour.
彼らはここ一時間ずっと口論している。
2. Lately, these days: temporarily happening at the present time.
継続時間を“lately, these days”で表し“最近”を意味する場面。
I have been thinking about you lately.
私は最近貴方のことを考えています。
I have been going to the gym lately.
私は最近ジムにかよっています。
She has been eating a lot lately.
彼女は最近食べ過ぎです。
He has been acting strange these days.
彼は最近行動が変。
My friends have been avoiding me these days.
友達が最近私を避けている。
Customers have been complaining these days.
最近客のクレームがある。
3. Questions: to ask questions, swap the subject with have/has as in the following examples.
疑問文にするにはhas/haveと主語を入れ替える。
Have you been feeling alright?
大丈夫ですか？
Has she been eating a lot lately?
彼女は最近食べ過ぎですか？
Has he been acting strange lately?
最近彼は行動が変ですか？
What have you been doing these days？
最近何してますか？
Have they been talking for the last hour?
彼らはここ一時間話しているの？
Have my neighbors been arguing since I left for work?
