Future Perfect Progressive Tense
日本語は大まかな状況を説明しているだけで、詳細な訳ではありません。
未来完了進行形はあるアクションや状態が未来のある時点まで継続する場面で使われますがぎこちなく聞こえるため下記の場面以外殆ど使われません。
1. Something (action/event/state) continues until some point in the future. It is not important when it started.
未来のある一時点まで何かが継続する、いつ始まったかは重要でない。
He’ll have been sleeping for four hours by midnight.
彼は夜中の12時には4時間寝ている事になる。
I’ll have been waiting for a month for that package if it doesn’t come by next Friday.
来週金曜日までにそのパッケージが届かなければ私はひと月待っている事になる。
In a month, I’ll have been attending college for 3 years.
私はあとひと月で3年間大学に通っている事になる。
This summer, they’ll have been dating for 5 years.
二人は来る夏には5年間付き合っている事になる。
He’ll have been teaching for 20 years this fall.
彼は来る秋には20年間教えている事になる。
By midnight, we’ll have been flying over the Pacific for eleven hours.
私たちは夜中の12時には太平洋上を11時間飛んでいる事になる。
2. Questions: To ask questions, swap the subject with will as in the following examples.
疑問文にするにはwillと主語を入れ替える。
Will she have been sleeping for four hours by midnight?
彼女は夜中の12時までには4時間眠っている事になりますか？
Will he have been jogging for two hours by lunch time?
ランチタイムまでには彼は2時間ジョギングしている事になりますか？
Will you have been waiting for more than two hours when your plane finally arrives?
飛行機がついに到着する頃には貴方は2時間以上待っている事になりますか？
Will they have been traveling over a week by the time they reach Alaska?
アラスカに到着する頃には彼らは一週間以上旅している事になりますか？
Will they have been dating for five years by next month?
二人は来月までには5年間付き合っている事になるんですか？
Will she have been attending college for more than seven years when she graduates?
